Glass Hurricanes or Glass Globes are designed to protect the wick of candles from breezes and drafts yet maintain enough airflow to allow the wick to burn properly. Perfect for outdoor weddings or other outdoor events.

These are terrific for creating eye-catching centerpieces and arrangements for wedding receptions, anniversaries, showers, home decorating, pretty tabletops, elegant dining, parties and other celebrations. Make arrangements using taper candles, pillar candles, votive candles, tealight candles or our paraffin wax fuel cells.

Slender Glass Hurricane Globe, Order# MG193

Size: 8.5"H x 3.5"D, the top AND bottom are OPEN with no vent holes.

This Slender Glass Hurricane is 8.5" in Height and 3.5" in Diameter at the widest point. The top opening is nearly 3.25" in diameter and the bottom opening is 3.5" in diameter with the narrowest inside diameter being 2.8".

The perfect size to place over a 2" x 6" Pillar Candle (as shown in image #2 & #3 above)
or a 6" Tall Taper Candle safely nestled in a candle holder (not included, as shown in image #4 & 5)

Large Glass Hurricane Base or Taper Candle Holder

Size: 7" in Diameter x 1.25" Tall with recessed taper candle holder in center.

This is a very heavy glass hurricane base designed to house a standard 7/8" Taper Candle or round Pillar Candle with a Glass Hurricane Globe.

The base measures 7" in Diameter at the very bottom x 1.25" tall. The top of the base is 6" in diameter (tapered side) - with a recessed groove at 3.5" designed to hold a 3.5" diameter glass hurricane globe securely in place.

The perfect mate to our Slender Glass Hurricane Globe SOLD separately or as a Set below and shown in images #1 & #2 - to create an elegant Taper Candle centerpiece or a 2x6 Pillar Candle centerpiece. Great for outdoor events, outdoor weddings or elegant dining, while protecting the candle's flame from breezes.

You can also use this base as a 3" Diameter Pillar Candle Holder...
AND you can also add a Glass Hurricane large enough to fit over the pillar - also sold here: Glass Hurricane Globe, Order# OD70008

NOTE: These are Discontinued items so the image shown is only similar. The Libbey base has a slightly flared bottom edge and is very heavy glass. We cannot get more of these. This is a Close Out Sale- No Returns.

Size: 4-3/8" in Diameter at top edge opening tapering to 3.75" in diameter x 1.75" tall, with the base being 2.5" in Diameter.
